Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives
Our Prison Ministry
Rev. G’s Prison Ministry is a powerful expression of faith in action, reaching beyond the walls of the Lowell Prison Work Camp to offer hope, healing, and transformation. With a deep commitment to restoration and renewal, Rev. G regularly leads workshops focused on Faith and Character Development, helping incarcerated women reclaim their dignity and reconnect with their divine purpose.
These sessions are more than lessons—they are lifelines. Each workshop invites participants to explore the truth of who they are, reflect on the paths that brought them here, and consider the role of faith in shaping a new future.
Sacred Strength: A Journey Inward and UpwardOne of the more recent and deeply impactful workshops is titled Sacred Strength. Designed to create a safe and spiritual space for self-reflection, Sacred Strength guides women through the process of recognizing their inner resilience and drawing upon a Higher Power for support and guidance.
Through scripture, shared stories, prayer, and honest conversation, participants begin to see themselves not through the lens of their past, but through the eyes of grace. They are encouraged to confront challenges with courage, embrace character development, and cultivate a lasting sense of spiritual strength. As one participant shared, “This was the first time I felt seen not for what I did, but for who I truly am. Sacred Strength helped me find my way back to faith—and to myself.”
Walking the Path of RecoveryIn addition to workshops, Rev. G. also facilitates a monthly 12-Step Recovery Meeting, providing consistent spiritual and emotional support for those navigating the journey of addiction recovery. Rooted in honesty, accountability, and grace, these meetings offer a confidential space where participants can share openly, lean on one another, and seek healing through faith-based recovery principles.
Rev. G’s approach emphasizes the connection between spiritual growth and personal transformation, helping women rediscover their worth and walk forward in freedom—one day at a time.
Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives. The Prison Ministry isn’t just about spiritual enrichment—it’s about planting seeds of change. Whether through a faith-building workshop or a recovery circle, Rev. G walks alongside these women with compassion and conviction, helping them envision a life beyond confinement—a life anchored in faith, character, and the belief that transformation is always possible.
